I believe this is the soft version of Dickerson's rod. This rod really casts excellent and will win over many fans. I have never seen this taper published and it is not in Howells book.

Here is the guide spacing 4 1/4, 8 5/16, 13 5/16, 18 7/16, 23 3/4, 29 1/8, 35 3/4, 41 7/8, 54 7/8, 61 11/16.
